A Message from the Chairman
We at OLMF value Integrity, Dedication, Commitment, Fiscal Responsibility, Respect, Consideration, Brotherhood, Honesty, Fidelity, Loyalty and Teamwork. I am pleased to report that the OLMF Board of Directors continues to adhere to solid principles of foundation governance by reviewing and fine-tuning management operations. The purposes for which OLMF is organized are to take, receive, acquire, own, and hold the Life Membership estate, funds, principal, income, monies, accounts, grants, donations, gifts, and properties both real and personal, tangible and intangible, for such uses and purposes and with such powers, and obligations as are set forth in the Charter and Corporate Bylaws.
The Omega Life Membership Foundation, Inc. is non-profit corporation granted tax exempt status under the provisions of 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue code. Contributions to the Foundation are tax deductible to the donor. Your donation makes it possible for the Foundation to serve the needs of our communities and the programs of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. Please consider donating to the Foundation through the Combined Federal Campaign. Our CFC number is 18833.
Grants and Donations:
We have launched an appeal project to aid the Fraternity in its Million Dollar Pledge to the Smithsonian Institute. OLMF has raised over $35,000. Also, OLMF is soliciting donations for the St. Jude Hospital Project. Over the last four years, OLMF has donated $40,000 to the Association for the Study of African Life and History (ASALH).
This year OLMF has awarded $26,000 for Community Grants, awarded $139,000 for Scholarships, awarded $12,000 in Cultural Talent awards, provided a $25,000 Grant for an Undergraduate Leadership Summit, and OLMF provided a $30,000 Grant for a Youth Conference.
