A Message from the Chairman
Since 1984, Omega Life Membership Foundation has been an engaged and insightful international philanthropic institution, collaborating with countless partners to provide for charitable, educational, artistic, leadership, and scientific initiatives that improve the quality of life for the myriad communities we serve.
Indeed, the sun never sets on the communities positively impacted by the Foundation.
Organized and established as a non-profit corporation granted tax exempt status under the provisions of 501(c) 3 of the Internal Revenue Code, contributions to the Foundation are tax deductible to the donor. Your donation makes it possible for the Foundation to serve the needs of our communities, through the institutions and organizations located in those communities.
Counted among our many collaborators, to name a few, are:
- St. Jude Children’s Hospital
- The Association for the Study of African Life & History (ASALH)
- The Disaster Relief Project
- Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. Talent Hunt
- Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. Fatherhood & Mentoring Programs
Additionally, the Foundation, on an annual basis, provides competitive grant awards to 20-30 local community 501 (c) 3 organizations, in the effort to assist grassroots difference makers provide for the localized and particular need of that specific community. This year (2021) those community grants will total $100,000.
We are most proud of our commitment to providing academic scholarship awards to deserving students pursuing a college education. The Foundation, annually, awards scholarship money in the amount of $150,000.
