75th Virtual International Talent Hunt Demonstration
In January of 2021, the Covid-19 pandemic continued to have a negative impact on the world and the International Talent Hunt Committee (ITHC), of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., ability to host an in-person Talent Hunt Demonstration. Omega men always rise to address whatever issue may come before us. The ITHC vowed not to cancel the Talent Hunt programs for a third year. As a result, they formed an ad-hoc committee to formulate procedures for conducting Virtual Talent Hunt programs at the chapter, state, district and international levels. The procedures were reviewed and adopted by the members of the ITHC.
On July 18, 2021, the 75th International Talent Hunt Demonstration was presented in a virtual format. The students listed below skillfully represented each of the fraternity’s 12 districts.
2021 Talent Hunt Awardees
Over 3,000 households viewed some aspect of the virtual program. We are proud to say the first virtual program was a tremendous success. The Omega Life Membership Foundation, Incorporated proudly supports the International Talent Hunt Committee by funding the 2021 Talent Hunt awards. Each participant in the Talent Hunt Demonstration was awarded $1,500, a plaque and a 75th year commemorative medallion. While the virtual program was successful, the ITHC hopes future Talent Hunt programs will be live and in person.
